Why a Dietitian and Diabetes Specialist?
My passion for nutrition and career choice was a result of my own struggles to achieve optimal health –both physically and mentally. I had many health issues and still manage some to this day. I know what it feels to be lost. After working with thousands of patients over the years, I have learned that we are more similar to each other than we think. Whether you want to prevent or manage diabetes, decrease diabetes medication or insulin, lose/gain weight, have more energy, improve the way your family eats, or decrease your chances of developing diseases –don’t be shy, I CAN help you!
I am a women-business owner, and mother of two precious biracial kids. Activities that bring me joy and allow me to keep my sanity include cooking, traveling, learning, working out, trying new foods, and discussing ways in which we can make the world a better place. Let’s meet at my office in downtown Portland or we can schedule a virtual appointment. My nutrition practice is flexible and inclusive to meet the needs of your busy schedule. Additionally, I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese.
